Veer helps people reduce automatic screen time through AI-assisted rescue flows, focus sessions, reminders, and behavior insights. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how users can contact us.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as email address, social login identifier, display name, and authentication data.
- Coaching content, such as messages, rescue answers, focus tasks, check-ins, and AI responses.
- Screen time preferences, such as target apps, high-risk windows, triggers, goals, and reminder settings.
- Product usage events, such as rescue starts and completions, focus sessions, paywall views, subscription events, and notification permission status.
- Device and notification data, such as push token, platform, timezone, and notification preferences.
- Purchase data from subscription providers, such as RevenueCat app user ID, product ID, entitlement state, and transaction metadata.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate the app, personalize interventions, generate plans and insights, manage subscriptions, provide support, improve product reliability, and protect accounts.
AI Processing
Veer sends relevant user-provided coaching context to AI model providers to generate personalized responses. AI can make mistakes. Veer is not therapy, medical advice, or emergency support. Users should not share information they do not want processed for coaching.
Data We Do Not Intend To Collect
Veer does not intend to collect contacts, precise location, financial account details, HealthKit data, photos, microphone recordings, browser history, or full device screen recordings. If iOS Screen Time APIs are enabled, Veer only uses app and activity information allowed by Apple frameworks for screen time coaching.
Analytics And Advertising
We may use product analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve Veer. We do not sell coaching content and do not use raw coaching messages for third-party advertising.
Retention And Deletion
We keep account, coaching, habit, and usage data while an account exists unless deletion is requested. Users can delete their account in the app. After deletion, we delete or anonymize account-related data, except limited records that may be kept for legal, tax, fraud prevention, security, or subscription support.
